 This Briggs & Stratton recoil starter came off of a 7HP engine which was used on a chipper/shredder.

The front side was cleaned and painted with Rustoleum paint about a year ago in an attempt to revitalize the engine, which had bigger issues in the end.

The back side has the normal light corrosion, as seen in the photo.

The plastic recoil pulley is new, as is the recoil spring inside.

All 4 tabs which bend to hold the recoil pulley are in tact.   Two have never been used.
