Hi. I'm a film director thinning out my 40 year collection. Please check out my other auctions. In the future I'll be putting up: Rare comics, movie
props,
posters, lobby cards, pressbooks, books, laser discs, DVD's, 16mm films, CD's, watches, toys, model kits, ray guns, trading cards, Star Trek
items, shirts,
original art, Elvis, Beatles...and much more! What we have here is a glossy still color photo from the Irwin Allen fantasy
classic,
VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA. I didn't remember what the hell this still was from until I looked it up!
•• Season 4, Episode 2 •• The Deadly Dolls ••
The Seaview crew is being entertained by puppet cairactures of the Captain and Admiral, compliments of Professor Multiple (Vincent Price).
Multiple remains on-board when the sub departs, and his dolls soon come to life, replacing their real-life counterparts. Only Nelson and Crane
avoid capture and transformation. Multiple boasts that he and the others are all puppets, created by machines from the future that have traveled
into the present, and need the Seaview as a new host body. Can Nelson and Crane overcome this fantastic threat?----
INFO ON: Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea is a 1960s American Science Fiction television series based on the 1961 film of the same name.
Both were created by Irwin Allen, which enabled the movie's sets, costumes, props, special effects models, and sometimes footage, to be used
in the production of the television series. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was the first of Irwin Allen's four science fiction television series. The
show's main theme was underwater adventure.
Voyage was broadcast on ABC from September 14, 1964 to March 31, 1968, and was the decade's longest-running American science fiction
television series with continuing characters. The 110 episodes produced included 32 shot in black and white (1964–65), and 78 filmed in color
(1965–68). The first two seasons took place in the then future of the 1970s. The final two seasons took place in the 1980s. The show starred
Richard Basehart as Admiral Nelson and David Hedison Captain Crane.
Still is in great shape.
