This undated, presumably circa 1974, unnumbered issue of the San Deigo-based publication "Community Spirit" features news, editorials, essays, calendar events, etc. -- and offers an interesting glimpse into the post-Stonewall period of LGBT history. This vintage, stapled, 3-page, double-sided, magazine-size newsletter is in very good to good condition; a real collector's item with no tears, but points lost for minor edge wear in the upper right front cover corner of the last page and cover wear that includes faint front/back cover foxing, mostly along the spine, a fold mark in the upper left front cover corner, a faint, narrow crease in the lower right front cover corner, 2 standard fold marks -- presumably from its original mailing (see photo 1 below) -- and, lastly, '9/74' written small in pencil in the upper right front cover corner (see enlarged photo 2 below). Winning bidder understands that he/she is buying this item AS IS (please see shipping instructions below). This is a private auction and, as a bidder, you remain anonymous. All bidders must contact this seller with any questions or concerns prior to placing a bid. Please check out my other auctions for more rare books, vintage gay mags, DVDs and more!
