This Impressionist seated Female nude is an original oil on canvas by the listed Polish artist Jacob Koslowsky (20th Century). The painting is composed in the very manner of the model's nude, it is balanced but relaxed, slightly leaning to one side. Its execution too mirrors the lounging air of the scene, indulging in every brush stroke, passing every bit of his own pleasure into the piece for the viewer to enjoy! The piece has nonchalant class for miles, a kind of bohemian openness! This small piece has a generous number of moments where the underpainting and the painting meet in surprising, complimentary color combinations and strange details! The piece is signed by the artist L/R.

The fabulous oil on canvas measures 10"  x  17 1/2" approx. 13 1/4" x 20 1/2" in a  quaint, elegant custom made wooden frame, that perfectly compliments the piece. The piece is in OK condition, there are some chips and cracks in the surface. The frame is in excellent shape.
