This is a mint in box 12" Silver Screen action figure of Lon Chaney as the Erik, the Phantom, from the classic 1925 Universal film, The Phantom of the Opera -- lovingly crafted by Sideshow Collectibles. 

The Phantom has over 20 points of articulation and comes with a violin, bow, fedora, mask, opera cap and textured foot base.  The Silver Screen edition has black and white paint deco representing the tones of the original film.

Another fine sculpt by Oluf Hartvigson.  The head sculpt is dead on, and the hand sculpts are perfect to handle the violin.

The mask/face is appropriately blank, fits over his head tightly but not too tight, and has a cloth mouth cover.  The cloth is an excellent choice, true to the source material, and looks excellent.

The hat is designed to only fit over the mask.  It fits well and looks great perched on top of his head.

The violin is excellent -- with real metal strings and great detail.  In combination with the great articulation and hand sculpts, you can pose him with the violin perfectly.

It come packaged in gatefold window box (which is a fancy way to say it has a flap that opens like a book) that features a replica of the original movie poster on the front.

A limited run of only 3,500, it has long been out of production.  And this rare figure has NEVER been displayed nor removed from its package -- just waiting for you!
