This is a perfect first edition / first printing in the dust jacket of HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, the second volume in the Harry Potter series.

New York: Scholastic Press, 1999.

"First American Edition, June 1999" stated on copyright page along with full numberline 10987654321, as required. Followed by the numbers 9/9 0/0 1 2 3 4    as required.

This is correct designation for FIRST EDITION and FIRST PRINTING of this book.

This is correct FIRST STATE book, with no embossed number "2" on the book's spine, and correct FIRST STATE dust jacket with no number "2" on the dust jacket's spine. Also has correct first edition ISBN on dust jacket's rear panel: 0439064864.  And correct price of $17.95 on front flap. On page 332, the word 'ancestor' is used as the last word on the last line of this page. It was replaced by 'descendant' in later printings. All as required.

This is a great book in Near Mint dust jacket. A clean copy with NO markings. Very clean inside and out.  Tips and ends fairly sharp.  In a beautiful bright FIRST STATE dust jacket with original price of $17.95 on front flap and NO chips or tears.
