* Plant a maximum of two plants in your planter and use the foam disc to keep your plant in place

* Let your plants grow wild, you will get more produce, but it will be smaller. For large tomatos, keep plant suckered (pinch off new shoots as they appear between stem breaks)

*If you want to grow 100% organic tomatoes, only use organic sprays to ward off insects

* When you are storing your planter, clean out and keep in a dry location until next use

* Best time to grow tomatoes is when the last frosts in your area are finished, usually early in spring.  Mind you, I am growing some tomatoes now and I live in a semi-arid climate!

* Use a great quality potting mix and fresh, healthy tomato plants for your planter

* Depending on your climate, make sure your plants see some full sun as tomatoes love this every day but extemely hot environments, be warned that tomaotes will need some shade!  Use your gardening common sense and this system will work well!
