This is another great offering for your militaria collection from JodyCollects.  It is a great item from my husband's military patch collection.  WE are offering a WW II AUSTRIAN a H.Q. U.S. COMMAND PATCH - SECOND DESIGN.

This is a fully embroidered, cut edged example of the second design.  This patch is on a khaki base and is a MINT, UNISSUED example.  This patch measures 2.5" in width and is about 3.0" at its tallest.  The back is snowed.  It has been UV tested and does not glow.  The patch is 100% natural fibers.  

This  66+ year old patch is in EXCELLANT CONDITION.  The colors are still the BRIGHT and VIVID RED and WHITE of the Austrian National Colors.  It has a fine textured weave that only true WW II patches acquired.  The patch features a sword and an olive branch suggesting a peaceful Occupation by American Armed Forces.  The Austrian H.Q. Department was in existence from 08/18/45 to 06/27/58. 

Authentic WW II patches are quickly disappearing into private collections and soon very few real vintage patches will be on the market.  These patches came from an old and extensive collection assembled at Fort Jackson, SC.  My husband's mother managed a tailor shop on the base from 1947 through 1972 when she retired.  She amassed a collection of over 4000 patches from WW II through Vietnam that she displayed upon the walls of her shop.  Upon her retirement she was given the collection as a sign of appreciation and now a portion of these patches are being offered for sale.

These patches come from a smoke free environment.  Please check the pictures carefully and ask any question you have; any questions will be answered as soon as possible.  PayPal is the only method of payment accepted; please do not pay with e-check without prior approval, it delays processing.  Please do not ask us about bidding less than the minimum bid.  Shipping and Handling $2.00 for U.S customers only.  Contact us for S&H if you are from Canada, please do not ask about S&H for other countries.  Returns are accepted if the items are returned within 7 days and if the items have been damaged during shipping or not described.
