About Us

Trade2save is Pre-owned electronics and media marketplace. We are here to serve our customers with high quality pre-owned electronics and media. While some of our products are brand new, we focus more on keeping pre-owned electronics and media that have life in them still on the market and away from landfills. Electronic waste (E-waste) is a silent ecological disaster that escapes the minds of most everyone but will have hugely negative repercussions for all, now and into the future if we don't take steps to solve this problem.
Why is Pre-owned Greener?
When you purchase a pre-owned electronic product instead of a new one, you are not adding to the demand that manufacturers take as a signal to produce more, which leads to overproduction and waste. Your buying trends go into affecting a company’s decision regarding how many more of that product they should manufacture with little regard to environmental damage. Buying perfectly good pre-owned goods effectively helps to slow and reduce that overproduction that is so very dangerous to our environment.
Our inventory and selection is continuously growing in more than 10 different categories from: DVD's, Blu-Ray, Video Games, Game Consoles, Cell Phones, Laptops, Digital Cameras, Camcorders, GPS Units, Ipod & Mp3 players. All of our products are tested and restored to factory settings unless otherwise noted in the listings. We offer free-shipping to all domestic locations as a standard option on our Fixed-Listing items.

Q. Can you provide the actual photo of the item for sale?
	
A. Due to the volume and turnover of our inventory it would be impractical for use the actual image taken of an item on the listings. In order to be as accurate as possible we use approximations (item may be a different color) in our listings and note any differences in the item description.

	
Q. Do you ship internationally?
	
A. We have opened up our sales to some international locations. Right now we offer shipping to Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. More countries will be added soon if the demand is there. DVD Shipping rates to UK and Australia: 1st 5.99 2nd+ 3.99 each Feel free to ask questions.

	
Q. Do you offer Combined Shipping?
	
A. We offer Combined shipping on our Movies and Games. Prices Below: DVD: 1st DVD - 2.99 Additional- 1.29 Games 1st - 3.99 2nd - 1.99

	
Q. Do your item s include a warranty?
	
A. All our items are tested working and are considered in used condition unless otherwise specified in the listing. We are unable to verify original warranty status of the product through the manufacturer. However in order to better serve our customers we provide a 30-day limited warranty. Details of this warranty can be seen on our warranty page.

	
Q. What do you consider ‘normal wear and tear’?
	
A. Normal wear and tear consists of minor imperfections that may be visible/noticeable on an item from regular responsible use under average circumstances.

	
Q. Do your games include original Box Art and Manual.
	
A. Yes, all of our games have the original box art and manual included unless otherwise stated.

	
Q. How can I contact you?
	
A. You can either use the ‘ask seller a question’ feature on ebay or email us directly at customerservice@trade2save.com. Please remember to include details of the order in your email including the item #.

	
Q. I live close-by, can I just come over and pick up the item.
	
A. Unfortunately no, we do not have a storefront or any other setup for local pickup. We provide tracking on our sold items over a certain price in order to protect both you and ourselves from any mistakes in acquisition of the item.

A. We ship out of San Francisco, Ca.

	
Q. What shipping service do you use?
	
A. We ship our items out via USPS.

	
Q. What payment options do you accept?
	
A. We accept Paypal.

	
Q. How do I know if you received my payment?
	
A. Paypal sends you a payment receipt via email. You can also logon to your paypal account if you do not receive their email.

	
Q. When will my item ship?
	
A. We ship items on a daily basis throughout the work week. Due to amount of fulfillment that must be met, we ask that you expect at least a 1 business day lag on shipping of your item from the day payment is cleared.

We accept payment through paypal. Paypal is most trusted way to pay for items online.
They provide money back protection for both buyers and sellers and have not let us down yet. No other payment options accepted at this time.

Returns for refund and exchanges within 7 days, unless otherwise listed
	
We are not responsible for the cost of return shipping if you decide within 7 days that you no longer want the item.
	
Warranties - Trade2Save offers a 3rd party warranty option through Squaretrade.com. If an item is eligible for Warranty a squatrade banner link will be seen on the page of the eligible item. All warranty questions should be directed to customer support at Squaretrade.com

Standard Return Policy:
Items covered by our policy must be initiated for return to Trade2save within 7 days of the receiving date for this policy to apply. All items returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee, unless item was faulty when sent out. The Limited 7-Day return policy does NOT apply to Optical Media such as Movies, Games and Music, unless it was damaged when received, condition not as described, or the wrong item.
Media Return Policy:
Exchanges on Media, including movies, games, music or memory will only be given if the item was damaged upon receiving. Money back policy is ONLY guaranteed to media that is unopened. Open item returns are only accepted in exchange for like media. Refund on opened media will be at the discretion of Trade2save if return is initiated within 14 days of shipping date and no suitable like for like replacement is located by us within 14 days of us receiving the item back. All items returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee, unless item was faulty when sent out.
Cell Phone Return Policy:
Buyer’s have 7 days of shipping date to inform us of request of return. Refunds will be only given if a phone is DOA. Non working ESN’s are the responsibility of the buyer. The assumption is made that the buyer checked ESN for activation with their carrier before purchase of the phone. Any other return/refunds will be at the discretion of Trade2save.
