20x24 Giclee print on canvas. Stretched and ready for framing. I sell these prints on my web site and art shows for $168.
About my Prints
My Giclees prints on canvas are stretched on standard wood stretcher bars.
I hand stretch the canvas the same way I stretch canvas for my original paintings.
The Giclee is coated with the exact same material I use on my originals and
allows framing without glass just like an original. Once you experience
these prints without glass it is hard to view them any other way.
They looks so much like the original it is had to tell them apart and since
I do my own printing I am able to take the time to match my original.
Definition:
Giclee (pronounced "zhee-clay") reproductions were originally developed in 1989
as a digital method of fine art printing. The word Giclee is French for
"to spray on" or "to spray ink". The images are scanned and digitally
stored in a computer and then sent directly to a high resolution, inkjet printer.
The ink and surface are key to the longevity of the print. I only use acid free
canvas and archival pigmented inks. If you would like more information about
the inks and canvas I use send me an email and I would be glad to answer any questions.
