NO SHIPPING NO TRUCKING COMPANIES. Early 1800's travelers trunk. (It's the type someone of Abe Lincoln's generation would have carried) Hide covered with brass tack design. Got this from an old Indiana estate. Family heir told me she knew it came over from Ireland when the family first came to America in the 1830's. They were active in the Oxford Ohio area and then moved over a few miles across the Indiana border near Liberty, Indiana at the time of the Civil War. Had at least one family member in the 11th Indiana Volunteers. Trunk has been used but not abused. Good original condition. Hasn't been messed with. Sorry, I won't ship this item BUYER MUST COME AND GET IT IN INDIANAPOLIS WITHIN 10 DAYS OF SALE. WAIT and pay for it in CASH and I GUARANTEE you must like it when you see it or don't expect you to take it |
