           Is this a tiny bird surrounded by very large flowers? Or is this a large bird surrounded by gargantuan flowers? The scale of this is intriguing! Leaves and stems of olive, grey, and yellow support flowers done in rich tones of red, orange, yellow, pinky violet, and beige. These stand out boldy against a washed black background, that some would call washed charcoal. Perched on a stem is a bird of paradise- his back is done in the colors of the leaves, his stomach is tones of red, his face is grey, and his head and tail have bright colors of yellow and oranges. There is a bit of the lavender on the shorter tail feathers.  The colors are vivid and bold against the more drab tones of the leaves and the deep color of the background.  The yellows of in the over-all are a bit too light, they are more golden, less lemon on the fabric.

          This is 56 3/4" wide. The bird is about 17" ( 43.18 cm. )  from the top of the head to the tip of the tail.  This is sheeting weight fabric. It is a light weight, multi-purpose, home decorating fabric. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, quilts, totes,etc.

          This is for a 57" piece, the fabric ends 1 1/4" ( 3.81 cm. )  above the top right hand bird's head.

     HANDLING TIME:  Fabric is shipped in the order of payment received. Most fabric is shipped within 24 hours of receiving payment. The exceptions are the weekends, holidays, and when the vacation settings are on. Ebay wishes all listings to have a handling time. To cover ourselves, in case of illness, Brick House Fabrics will ship within a week of payment, except when the vacation settings are on.
