What Is CCD Technology and Why You Need It?
The Camera Has The Following Special Features
- Durable, rustproof stainless steel bodied camera and surface mount (comes with assembly materials to surface mount on outside of vehicle)
- Weather and Waterproof casing. Please note: The casing is weather and waterproof under normal use only and doesn't require any further adjustment on your part. However, the cables may not be weather and waterproof. To make proofing enabled, the cable connections will require additional sealing/protection that you must provide. Remember, improper installation and using the product in opposition to the manufacturer's instructions and the manufacturer's defined terms and conditions of normal usage may result in damage to the weather/waterproofing properties of the camera.
- 1/3" CCD image sensor
- 18 infrared tubes - auto activate at night - ability to sense low and high light levels and adjust image accordingly
- High resolution 420 TV lines
- Low illumination requirement - 0 LUX (w/LEDs on)
- User adjust left/right mirror reverse image - can set to display a reversed camera image on the monitor (for vehicle rear viewing to duplicate the normal view seen in a rear-view mirror) OR a normal view on the monitor (for vehicle front viewing) - connect two-pin jumper connector to the mirror reverse wire to set for normal view
- 120 Degree Wide Angle View - Essential to get a wide picture view especially when backing up a towed vehicle or a vehicle with wide turning radius
- Standard RCA audio/video output - When in need of replacement cables you can simply buy them off the shelves of any store selling audio/video cables. There's no need to shop around for some "special type" of cable. The connectors are compatible with this product as they would be with any VCR, DVD player, TV, or Monitor.
- Uses standard 12V DC power supply found in most land vehicles
- Caution: The camera is designed to operate within a range of constantly changing voltage levels produced by a vehicle's battery and alternator (post engine ignition) under normal use conditions. Some vehicles have a very high momentary voltage at the vehicle starting time and the excessive voltage generation at that time might cause damage to the camera. If your vehicle tends to emit high voltage levels during ignition you will need to install a fuse/voltage regulator/etc. to protect your camera. Please consult with a professional vehicle audio/video equipment installers if needed.

U.S. Buyer and Delivery: Shipping and handling is free to U.S. buyers for shipment within the continental U.S. We ship the product within 48 hours of receipt of Paypal payments or within 48 hours of the clearing of any payment by check. Track Your Shipment
Most packages shipped can be tracked online through the particular carrier's web site. You will receive shipping and tracking information from us in the "Notification of Shipping" email after your package has been physically shipped. In most cases the shipment can be tracked online, but the information might not be updated in a timely fashion to reflect the actual point at which the package is at during its journey. This could be for a few reasons, including, but not limited to, the carrier not updating their online information during the weekend, delays in updating information due to holidays, and policies of the carrier that dictate they only update the date and time at which final delivery had occurred.
Warranty
We provide 90 day Limited Warranty on defective items. Customer must provide a copy of your invoice. Customer is responsible for paying all warranty related shipping expenses. Customer must contact us to get prior warranty return authorization before ship the products back. Defective items must be returned for inspection before any warranty service will be provided. Evidence of alteration, physical damage, improper installation, improper operation, excess voltage, short circuit, reverse polarity or voltage spike voids warranty.
Returns and Exchanges

No returns or exchanges accepted unless the product is inoperable. Operating problems must be reported to us within 3 calendar days of delivery. After 3 calendar days, returns/exchanges are not permitted. We make every effort to help our customers to solve any technical issues they may have related to the installation and normal use of the product. We ask that the buyer make every effort to contact us with their technical questions and problems prior to requesting a return/exchange. All exchanges are like-kind exchanges. We will not exchange for a different product or one with a different model type.
Returns/Exchanges are voided if the product is returned to us damaged and/or re-configured/disassembled. When returning a product we ask that you return it with all packaging materials intact and in the original product box. Buyer is responsible for all packaging/handling/shipping costs. We will not reimburse the buyer for any costs associated with returning the product to us. We are not responsible for damage, loss, or theft that might occur during return shipment to us. Within the returned packaged, buyer MUST provide a written explanation as to the problem encountered while installing/using the product. Failure to do so will result in our returning the product to you and will void any refund of the purchase price to the buyer. Upon receipt by us, our technicians will perform a full diagnostic review of the product to determine the exact cause(s) of operational difficulty/failure. If we determine that user error was the source of the product's operational difficulty/failure we reserve the right to keep the product without refunding the buyer's purchase price.
Restocking Fee - When you return an item in exchange for a new one or for a refund, we will conduct a thorough examination of the item and retest it. We reserve the right to assess a 15% restocking fee (on the original purchase price) if the item is found to be in proper working condition. If the item is deemed to be faulty and in need of repair you will not be charged a restocking fee, but will instead be provided a full refund.
