I've had this old salt and pepper stand for as long as I can remember, thinking someday I'd find the shakers to fit it. The stand is pegged, so the correct shakers will have an indention on the bottom.
Nice old Early American Pressed Glass, in Excellent Condition with NO damage. Piece measures 6 inches tall at center handle, 4-1/2 inches long, 2-1/2 inches deep, and the pegs are 2-5/8 inches apart on center.

Old Depression Glass and USA pottery pieces may vary as much as 1/4 inch in overall size. This is due to the manufacturing process itself. Factory molds wore down over time, and were frequently re-worked instead of replaced. After all, many of these pieces were produced mostly as give-aways to promote other products during hard times. There is nothing graceful or genteel about dirty glassware! I have never met a collector or shop owner who displays dirty glass. Rest assured that you will never pay shipping charges on dirty, greasy or gunky kitchen glass or pottery from us! Some shaker lids may exhibit wear or surface staining, but we do our best to remove any rusty particles. There are some sellers who say that "collectors prefer to do the cleaning themselves and want items in 'as found' condition". We do not believe that applies to glassware! We cannot in good conscience offer any item for sale without full disclosure of any flaws. Dirt, gunk and caked on grease can hide hairline cracks or other flaws in glassware and pottery. Buyer beware the seller who won't adequately clean an item to check for damage!
Each item sold by our family is carefully, gently and painstakingly hand washed, air dried, and carefully stored.
Shaker lids are removed and wrapped separately from the shakers to prevent stress fractures during packing and shipping.

However, these items have endured many years of household use, and may have embedded odors which we can't determine due to working with them day in and day out. These photos show the old "Small" flat rate box on the bottom (it is now their "Medium"), and the new "small" flat rate box is on top (it was formerly the dvd/video size). In addition, USPS now charges based not only on weight and zone, but also on dimensional size of packaging, just as the other carriers do.
We DO NOT pack with walmart bags and newspaper! You entrust us with the safe and secure delivery of your items, and we do all possible, including AMPLE packing materials. We use biodegradeable, cornstarch peanuts and clean, fresh new bubblewrapping, acid free tissue and boxing. Due to the continual rising costs of these items, we've been forced to institute a very small supply fee to help offset a small portion of the costs of packing peanuts, bubble wrapping and/or foam encasing.
eBay now charges sellers based on our "DSR ratings". While the feedback pages show 4 stars as being a very good seller, in actuality we as sellers are penalized for anything less than 5 stars! So please, don't penalize us, or any eBay seller, for excessive shipping unless it is truly excessive.~~

There is good reason for using only Priority Mail for fragile items: The less time in transit, the less likely your precious treasure will become damaged from being kicked across some loading dock! Priority Mail packages are shipped in separate trucks, and not subject to having heavier parcels or 70 lb. mailbags dropped on them. We have successfully shipped our glassware to all 50 states, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan!
