 I used to have an RCA REB 1100 eBOOK Reader which used Smart Media Cards. I bought this Olympus Smart Card Reader so I could just pop the card reader in my laptop and transfer ebooks directly from my laptop to my RCA eBOOK Reader without having to carry around an external smart media reader drive. I actually never got around to using this before I upgraded my RCA eBOOK reader, so now I really don't have a use for this - but I'm sure that anyone that has a device that uses Type II smart media cards and has a laptop would love to have this.

This makes getting data from your laptop to your portable device a dream, and it takes up zero space - just slide the card in your laptop and it uses one PCMCIA card slot.

There are several devices that use the Smart Media Cards, digital cameras, MP3 players, and of course the RCA eREB 1100 BOOK Readers and the eBookwise 1150.

This was $179.99 new.

Since I don't have a use for this right now, I'm going to let this go for $32.88 - which is a steal.

Go look and try and find another one. While you're looking - pray that someone else doesn't scoop this right out from under you.

These are incredibly hard to find. It took me a long time to find this one - and lucky you - I paid retail for it and you get it for el cheapo.
