Riding high on the success of his debut, INDIANA, and the single "So Close" from the Disney film ENCHANTED (which he performed at the Oscars), singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin returned in 2008 with OK NOW. The album features more ambitious songwriting and more elaborate arrangements from McLaughlin, as heard on the expansive lead single, "Beating My Heart." The Beatles, Billy Joel, and Coldplay are all musical touchstones for McLaughlin. Lush pop hooks abound throughout OK NOW, and the fine musicianship and multilayered production put the icing on the cake.
