 This projector bulb is considered “new Old Stock,” which means that it is brand new, but may have been in storage for a while. Thus, the box or wrapper may be discolored, worn or missing. Storing of a bulb does not shorten its life.

 

I do not illuminate projector bulbs because once they have been illuminated the filament becomes brittle and too fragile to mail. That’s why you should never purchase “used “ bulbs.

 

When I photograph projector bulbs I’m very careful to never touch the glass with bare fingers. Fingerprints can cause the bulb to burst when it heats up. Always handle a projection bulb by the base or use a cloth
