Movie description
Chris Elliott, before becoming a worldwide box-office star with THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY, created this incredible Fox sitcom with "Simpsons" producer David Mirkin. Elliott stars as 30-year-old paperboy Chris Peterson, whose skewed, childlike view of the world gets him into all sorts of wacky situations. This volume contains 4 classic episodes. In "Zoo Animals on Wheels," Chris stars in the titular local musical as the wildebeest. "Married" explores Chris's tumultuous one-day marriage to a beautiful supermodel. In "The Big City," the paperboy gets mugged on his first trip into the city, and finally, in "Neptune 2000," Chris and his hapless father become trapped in the model submarine that they have built in their bathtub.

Get a life was a television series and was premiered on September 1, 1990 and lasted on June 1, 1992 under Fox Network. The show starred by Chris Elliot who played in the character of Chris Peterson. The show created by Adam Resnick who is also a friend of Elliot where they work together as a writer with David Letterman and David Mirkin, who's a former writer and producer for Newhart. The series was unconventional for a prime time (30 minutes) sitcom and most of the time the story was surreal. Chris Peterson is a carefree and childlike bachelor who refuses to live the life of an adult where some are living for their age. The whole story focused on the life of Peterson who lived in an apartment above his parent's garage. On this series this is also one of the first television shows that featured the murder of the main star.
