This debut album by Kimya Dawson, from the Moldy Peaches, features 11 songs.
This UK edition includes one additional song, "So Far to Go."
The Moldy Peaches were very much an equal collaboration between songwriters Kimya Dawson and Adam Green, and, like Reed and Cale before them, their solo trajectories have expanded on different aspects of their original band's sound. Dawson's first solo album is a more adventurous outing than Green's, utilizing kooky incidental sound effects, backing instruments, and vocal variations on songs that are not just naïve but genuinely poignant and affecting. This 2002 album was one of the highlights of that year.
