Big Amethyst Cactus / Spirit Quartz Crystal Cluster

This shapely cluster of amethyst cactus quartz,
also known as spirit quartz,
is from the Magaliesberg Mountain Range
in Kwa Ndebele, South Africa.
These are very exciting formations
of small glittering crystals growing laterally
around a larger main crystal.

This big cluster of fantasy crystals
is an impressive specimen
of marvelous fully formed crystals
rising out of a host matrix.

These sparkling amethyst crystals are
lightly accented
with iron based citrine coloring.

This dramatic cluster is
5” across with a maximum height of 4 7/8"
and 2 1/4" at the widest point.
It weighs 2 pounds, 3.4 ounces.
