Corset:
Ready for a figure to
die for? Then consider this corset your secret weapon!
Our corsets are expertly made (by us) to give you beautiful
support combined with elegant fabrics. The corset
incorporates 11 pieces of American spiral and spring steel boning that
is cleverly & completely encased in heavy cotton canvas so the
boning never wears through! Fully lined with cotton canvas,
our corsets have great stability, support and long term wearablilty.
The grommets are two pieced and machine set and the opening
is finished with coordinating lacing. We developed our
corsets
using inspirations from different historical corsets in order
to create patterns that are flattering and comfortable on any woman.
They create long, smooth lines (are 4" longer than the
waist),
a drawn-in waistline, and a more Renaissance style push-up bust line.
Made only of high quality fabrics and findings, our corsets
are never ever cheap looking (not a throw away garment).
The corset in this
auction is a classic style, flattering, comfortable and perfect for any
figure. It is made from an olive green fabric that is
embroidered with small fleur de lis and the contrast center front is a
beautiful & richly colored tapestry, lined in natural
canvas, has gold grommets and is finished with tan lacing.
This corset is so flattering that no one will be able to take
their eyes off
of you!
This
set is available in 1 size:
Large: Corset
(fully closed):
bust = 38", waist = 29", bottom = 37" (4" below
waist).
So,
to fit this bodice best, your measurements should range:
Bust: 40" to 41"
Waist:
31" to 32"
4"
below waist: 37" to 39"
For
the BEST fit, your measurements should be 2" to 3" LARGER than the
fully closed
measurements.
If you are right at or smaller than these measurements, then
it
will fit loosely on you (and not stay up). Please measure
yourself carefully and DO
NOT rely on your bra
measure!! Measure you bust at the fullest part.
Your waist measure is just above your
navel.

*You
can be up to 2" larger than the largest listed measurements (above)
& just
have a gap in the back opening.

Blouse:
The
blouse is made of off-white satin, has
long sleeves with open asymmetrical cuffs, adjustable
elastic at the neckline and is elastized just above the elbow.
It can be worn on or off the shoulder. All seams
are sewn with
industrial
(not commercial/home) serger machines, and are finished with narrow
rolled
hems. Our blouses are roomy, soft and very comfortable.
The
blouse is a one sized
garment, perfect fit for this set.
Skirt:
The
full flowing skirt is made from a striking fire copper color pin tuck
(soft) taffeta and
has a
draw string adjustable waist for a perfect
stay-in-place fit (no sagging under your bodice!).
The
bottom circumference is a generous 4 yards.
It's length is 42" and the bottom is finished
with a serged edge. All seams are again finished by
industrial serger
machines.
(Note: the crinoline under the skirt is NOT included in the
auction. If you desire a crinoline or hoop skirt, I can
recommend
a wonderful Ebay seller for those items.)
*NOTE:
This last skirt has a slight imperfection (a small line where stitching
was removed besides a seam that may disappear with laundering). I already have
reduce the price of that
skirt only, by $10 (the set was originally $220).
The
skirt will fit any size waist up to 56" and smaller.
Any
alterations (such as hemming if needed) are the complete responsibility
of the buyer.
