These quarters are from mint bags received directly from the US Mint and they are all in uncirculation condition. I do not grade the coins. I handle all coins with cotton gloves and put each one in a small zip lock bags for shipping. The photo is a stock US Mint photo of uncirculated DC coin Want an uncirculated coins means. Uncirculated - a new condition coin that does not have any sign of wear. Marks on the coin that may come from the manufacturing process do not keep a coin from being unciruclated. (Example, bag marks.) Even the slightest amount of wear or cleaning will keep a coin from grading uncirculated.
Some of the different grades of uncirculated coins (MS60 through MS70). Uncirculated (MS-60) - Has no trace of wear but may show a number of contact marks, and surface may be spotted or lack some luster. Choice Uncirculated (MS-65) - An above average Uncirculated coin which may be brilliant or lightly toned and has very few contact marks on the surface or rim. Perfect Uncirculated (MS-70) - Perfect new condition, showing no trace of wear. The finest quality possible, with no evidence of scratches, handling or contact with other coins.
