Two 1920s Igleheart's Cake Secrets Cookbooks

These two small Cake Secrets cookbooks from Igleheart's were published in the 1920s – 1921 and 1926 to be exact. Just full of mouth-watering vintage cake recipes and beautiful nostalgic color illustrations. Also cookies, pies, and pastries, too. Very yummy!

1921 Booklet

Cover has a bit of wear, with some creasing and small tears, and is detached from inside pages. Inside pages in pretty nice shape, though yellowed bit, and have some staining on a few pages. Center page is detached. Twenty-seven pages plus index.

1926 Booklet

Front and back cover have a bit of wear, particularly at bottom where it is torn or eroded. Some other creasing, and writing in pencil at upper right. Inside pages in nice shape, yellowed a bit, and do have worn or eroded areas at the bottom. Some staining here and here. Center page is detached. Thirty-six pages includes index, and last page has handwritten recipe and newspaper clipped recipe stapled to it.

Approximate size of each booklet is 7” x 4.5” both booklets have a small hole at upper left, presumably for hanging.
