You are bidding on a large 12 in. slipper shape beaded Native American wall hanging dated 1902. There are some loops missing and the hanger but for it's age -- over a hundred years old --- it's in great condition as the photos will show. I have the center stuffed with tissue to hold the shape so that's the green you see. It stands without the tissue but to be very careful, I have stuffed it. I really don't know what it was intended to be used for but is truly a beautiful work of art. Highly raised floral & leaf beadwork. Behind each bead is a metal ring --- some a little corroded. This beadwork piece is one of the largest I have owned with an earlier than usual date. Most of this work was intended for tourist trade --- around the Great Lakes. See photos.
