Samples are garments made up to consider for the coming lines, and are made by expert seamstresses in the home office of a company. They are one of a kind, and we are delighted to be able to offer them to our customers. Perfect for a gift or to delight your own love for pretty things.

This deep purple gown is trimmed with a band of smocking at the round neck. Simple cut with full body and loose full sleeves. Comfortable and easy to wear.

All of our lingerie has been purchased from a major manufacturer as slight irregulars. This means that there is some small flaw that keeps it from being first quality, but nothing that will affect wear. Some of these are simply overstock and have no defects. If you find a significant defect that we have overlooked, please do let us know. If we find a significant defect, it will be so stated and you will have the opportunity to purchase the garment at a reduced price.

FREE SHIPPING on this item within the US. Canadian customers pay a flat fee of $2 (wait for our invoice as we were not able to set this up automatically). Other international buyers pay only $5 to anywhere in the world.

International customers: Custom regulations differ in every country. We do our best to follow customs regulations; we report the auction value of the garments and identify them accurately. It is up to you to deal with customs and tariffs in your country. If there is a hold in customs, you will have to get in touch with them yourself. Be aware that customs can hold up a package for several weeks sometimes.

We always obtain proof of shipping, and will gladly furnish it if needed. However we will not refund money without the return of the garment.

Measurements

All measurements are taken with the garment smooth and unstretched. Be sure to allow for wearing ease. We measure the length from the shoulder, the bust at the armhole, and the hip at 8” from the waist. We package the garments as soon as they go on auction, so cannot usually take additional measurements.

Oh yes, we pin the garments up on the dress form so they will look nice. So don’t look at the picture and think it’s too small for you. There may be several inches pinned up behind the form.
