CUSTOM Waverly TOILE Covered SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT CASE

If your Singer case is less than perfect, worn, ripped, slighly musty, or if you just want to stand out from the rest of your quilting group, we have a gorgeous solution for you!

Our cases are covered in Waverly toiles and coordinates; choose from our in-stock combinations of classic black and cream or red and yellow "Sweet Pasttimes' toiles, checks and stripes, 

OR, from our fresh new color combinations of sage and lavender (shown below), which are perfect for those of you who have a lilac, white or green Featherweight machine!  At the end of the auction, just provide us your color and pattern choices. 

We email a UPS shipping label to you along with instructions for packing and boxing. You simply print the label, tape it to your boxed case, and either drop it off at your UPS store or let us know in advance and we'll schedule a pickup from your home or office.

Upon receipt, we'll gently clean the case, locks, feet and handle, allow it a day or so of sunshine in our Ozark Mountain lake air. Then the messy part begins, and I promise you, it's not for the impatient or faint of heart!  (Imagine finger-painting with quickset fabric glue while juggling tiny snips, a metal straight-edge and long curved rug needle...)

Any odors are sealed (PLEASE - NO STRONGLY SMELLY OR BROKEN APART CASES - WE AREN'T MIRACLE WORKERS!), the fabric is cut to fit your individual case.    

IF your case interior requires re-covering as well, or a new handle attached, there will be an additional $30.00 charge (to cover the cost of the new handle or additional fabric).  Most cases just need the exteriors re-covered.  The case top interior is covered at no extra charge.

We use only low odor, non-toxic, non-staining fabric glues and sealers. The acrylic sealer leaves a matte or satin finish, so that the fabric still looks like fabric -- it's just much easier to clean.  Proper drying and curing of the glues and sealers are crucial, and with the cooler weather, this takes extra time.  Please allow a minimum of 3 full weeks for return from the time we receive the case from you until it is re-shipped. 

Your "new" custom case will return home to you wrapped in acid-free paper, and foam encased.

Shipping charge includes costs of you sending your case to us and returning it back to you.

Unless otherwise stated, ALL our items are authentic vintage or antique furnishings, linens, books, sewing items, and/or glassware, obtained from nice estate auctions across several states. We work relentlessly to insure that all our inventory is cleaned, maintenanced and acceptable for our customers. However, these items have endured many years of household use, and on rare occasion an item may have embedded odors which we can't determine due to working with them day in and day out. We also use wood heat during the winter, so if you have an aversion to that, then PLEASE don't bid then ask us for a refund later!
We consider it a blessing to offer you these wonderful old pieces, most of which saw continual daily use, and all of which surely would have many amazing stories to tell us if they could!

~~PLEASE know we are Not overcharging you on shipping! Most of our items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The USPS is once again going up on their rates, and charges based not only on weight, but also on size of packaging, just as the other carriers do. eBay now charges sellers based on our "DSR ratings", so please, don't penalize us, or any eBay seller, for excessive shipping unless it is truly excessive.

We DO NOT pack with walmart bags and newspaper! You entrust us with the safe and secure delivery of your items, and we do all possible, including AMPLE packing materials. We use biodegradeable, cornstarch peanuts and clean, fresh new bubblewrapping, acid free tissue and boxing. Due to the continual rising costs of these items, we've been forced to institute a very small supply fee to help offset a small portion of the costs of packing peanuts, bubble wrapping and/or foam encasing ~~

We always attempt to have concise, accurate descriptions and clear, accurate photos, however my photography skills aren't exceptional, and (contrary to my liking), I do not know everything about everything. If the photos or description leave a question in your mind, please email one of us, and we'll answer you as quickly as possible.

There are rare times when the occasional large furniture item will require additional packing materials, and if additional charges for those materials is necessary, that will be plainly stated within the listing. There will be no surprises at checkout. I am prompt with providing your shipping options and charges.
