CHIC, NOT SHABBY LADY HEAD POLKA DOT PILLOW/SO SWEET

This is one of my favorite patterns to embroider and sew together.  It is about 14 x 14, all trimmed in jumbo white ball fringe, and is a pretty black-haired beauty smelling a rose.  The embroidery is done on a fabric called Bengaline and it is a wonderful fabric to embroider on and has a beautiful sheen to it with tiny micro ribbing.  I have accentuated her with a pretty blue eye, red lips, and a beauty mark above her lips.  The rose is done in satin stitch using a varigated red and green for the leaves and stems.  I have put a couple of Swarovski tiny crystals on the rose for the dew points.  The motif is framed on all four corners with a pretty white Venise lace applique corner and the fabric is a very popular red and white polka dot.  The reverse side of the pillow is just as pretty to display as the front and is a pretty fabric of cherries and geraniums on a cream background.  I have scattered tiny green and rose-colored crystals on the greenery, cherries, and blossoms.  They are not showing up in the photos but make it look very pretty.  It is stuffed with a shredded polyfil which is a great stuffing because it doesn't lose its shape and is very resilient.
