Dinky Toy Cunard Queen Mary ship model pre war diecast

You are bidding on an approximate 1/1000 scale waterline ship model of the 1936 Cunard ocean liner Queen Mary. It is 6 and 3/4" long. This model was produced by the English company Meccano Dinky Toys . Dinky produced a few different models of ocean liners from about 1936 to 1941. They have long been out of production and are thus, hard to obtain. This particular model  is in reasonable shape for this type of die cast. Most of these that you see suffer from metal fatigue or have stress cracks running through them. This one does not. It does have some play wear to the paint, is missing both its wire masts (easily replaced), one of the rollers underneath, and one lifeboat from the starboard side. It is also fairly dirty and could use a careful cleaning with mild soapy water. All in all this is a decent example for your collection, and I don't think you will be disappointed. Good luck bidding. SHIPPING  I will be happy to ship worldwide, but will only do so via International Priority Mail, as this service can be tracked and insured. Foreign buyers must pay by Pay Pal. If you are a foreign buyer, it is advisable that you contact me before the end of the auction, as shipping may be expensive. Please note that I fill out custom forms when they are required.
For Domestic buyers, I always try to charge actual costs, regardless of what the e-bay calculator might say. Therefore, you might want to wait for an actual invoice before paying. Insurance is recommended. I can not be responsible if an uninsured item is lost or damaged in shipping. I usually ship once per week, typically within 2 to 4 days of the completion of an auction.
PAYMENT I prefer Pay Pal.,  but reserve the right to withhold shipping until the payment has cleared. If I do not receive payment within 30 days of the completion of the auction, I will void the transaction.
RETURN POLICY You can return any item, for any reason, within 7 days of  receiving it, but the buyer pays the shipping costs. If I have mistakenly described the condition or misrepresented an item, you may return it for a full refund.
