Vintage Ladies Knockabouts by Pendleton overcoat/jacket, red wool (probably virgin wool). Bodice is a slick fabric quilted lining and sleeves are lined with same fabric, but not quilted.
Jacket fits like a size 12-14, no size tag - please observe the measurements below, garment lying flat:
21 1/2" from armpit to armpit
18 1/2" across back shoulders from shoulder/sleeve seam to seam
22 1/2" sleeves from shoulder seam hem of sleeve (appears to have been altered)
33" length measured down center back from edge of collar to hem of jacket
Two deep top stitched pockets on front, have a slanted opening
Button down front features 5 wooden buttons
Wide pointed collar
Coat is very clean for it's age, but does have a few small spots that should remove easily with dry cleaning
Overall this garment is in good condition. Suggest the buttons be resewn. Sleeves appear to have been shortened from original and the hem of sleeve lining needs to be resewn.
This garment has alot of life left in it, remarkeable for it's age. Just needs a bit of attention.
