Here is a piece of history for Savannah, This note has Mechanics Savings and Loan Associations on the front  and unbnder this is  Savannah, August 4th 1862. and says certificate will earn 4% intrest after 30 days,  two readable signatures on this note,  Each  end of note has words ONE DOLLAR,  Reverse of note  has the front of other currencie of that period, Georgia can be seen on both partial notes, Paper must of been in short supply to do this., This old note is in very good condition and has one problem a small hole at top right of note, under ONE.  I  also have $2 note for sale. I accept cks paypal, ck photo,questions email me, no reserve.
