Type: Military medal, imperial germany, iron cross  
 WWI EK 2 with crown 25yr service, this is an original piece from the war,
this cross is in very good condition, the ribbon is frayed on the bottom where it meets the metal,
the oak is also in great condition. no scratches near the loop, everything is
 as it should be on this medal.
This is a very clean item, for a piece that has been out of its case.
   I've seen others posted on various websites for about the same price with nicer ribbons
but the medal itself was not as clean.
