Lionel Postwar O27 Gauge #6176 Lehigh Valley Hopper Car

This auction is for a Lionel Postwar O27 Gauge #6176 Lehigh Valley Hopper Car. This hopper was available from 1964 - 1966, again in 1969, and is 8 1/2" long x 2" wide x 2 3/4" high. It has a yellow plastic hopper, and AAR-type trucks with one operating coupler. Yellow heat-stamped markings include "LEHIGH VALLEY - L. V. 25000 - BUILT 1-48 - LIONEL 6176", a LV logo, and data lines. This car is complete and all original. The graphics are strong. There is no rust or cracks in the plastic. There are a few minor scratches and a minor area of paint loss. This is a nice clean hopper, grades to very good (C6), and will make an excellent addition to your layout and collection.
