Osprey Backpack - Men's 4200ci - Aether 70 - Bluestone

I am selling a newly purchased (9/5/09) Osprey Aether 70 Backpack that I used on a six-day wilderness hike in the Rocky Mountains in Northeast New Mexico. The backpack was purchased new from REI at a total cost of $278.14...they stated that this backpack was the most popular for use on the Appalacihian trail (AT). The pack carried approx. 45 lbs. of gear and was amazingly comfortable with the IsoForm harness which has a large gel-filled back area which provides total comfort during the hike. Osprey is known for quality gear - you'll really like the comfort and room in this pack...plus it has a separate zippered bottom area just for the sleeping bag and it is hydro-compatible.

The pack looks brand-new since it was only used on one hike and is less than one month old!

Weight - 4lbs. 9 oz.

Size - 4200 c.i. or 70 litres which is Medium. Please note: pack size refers to the interior dimensions with the medium at 4200 cubic inches. This pack is for all adults as the torso is fully adjustable for all heights and weights. As a point of reference, I am 5'11" and weigh 180 lbs. Please do not confuse this medium pack as for medium size people....the size is purely interior space!

Note: This pack features a custom-moldable hipbelt, so that it is a custom fit...just for you. When I bought this pack, I did not have it custom molded, so if you buy this pack, you can take it to any REI store and they will have it custom fitted for you as they have the official Osprey molding apparatus.
