CHANCE VOUGHT F4U-1D CORSAIR MODEL GAS R/C PLANE KIT Up for bid is a vintage R/C Model Airplane Kit.  Chance Vought F4U-1D Corsair Scale Radio Control Aircraft Kit.  Royal Quality Kits. Made in Japan. Dated 1976. This kit IS NOT complete.  It does have complete plans and instructions and quite a bit of the pieces but looks like some of the decals are missing and parts of the wood parts.  Look at the pictures and feel free to ask me any questions as this is sold "as is" NO returns. This was one of my dads kits and has been sitting in storage since the 1980's. The box is pretty decent.  Please note that I do not put this box into another box for shipping as it is plenty sturdy enough.  If you are a collector and the box is a big deal then please let me know and I will wrap in in brown paper for you and ship it that way.  Details: For a .60 - .80 gas engine Wing span is 61 1/2" Fuselage Length is 50 3/8" Wing area is 669 sq. in. SO, YOU R/C FELLAS ARE AWESOME!  This was my dad's kit.  It is not complete - the plans are but no fuselage and mostly scrap wood  and some wheels to a WWI plane I have been told.  So - really - take a look at the pictures cuz what you see is what you get on this one.  My dad probably picked it apart and used what he needed for something else, who knows!
