A carving by Black Folk Artist Isaac Smith. His 'Horned Toad' is supposed to bring good luck to its owner. Dimensions are 11" by 5". E-mail me with any questions.

Smith was born in Winnesboro, Louisiana. He spent a lot of time wandering in the woods as a child and developed a love for animals. An interest in wood carving began whne he was young. In 1978 he decided to start carving full time to make a living. He uses found wood and gets his ideas from animals from his experiences as a child in Louisiana.
