Wondering what you should look for in high quality log furniture? We have been in business since 1995 & have seen many variations in the quality of log furniture. We choose to sell only the best! Our log furniture includes the following features:
  • Hand-peeled & crafted creating pieces of furniture that are one-of-a-kind.
    • This gives you the opportunity to own a headboard that is individually yours and not exactly like anyone elses!
  • Entire headboard built from aspen or pine.
  • Sturdy 100% mortise & tenon construction meaning each log end is tenoned to fit inside a hole drilled in an adjoining log and then bolted together.
    • While some beds look like they are entirely mortise & tenon, they may not be. Our beds are built entirely of mortise and tenon construction! This technique is used to assemble the headboard.
  • Stout 2 9/16" in diameter and 2" in length tenons.
    • That's larger than most any other log furniture company uses. These large tenons add a look of stoutness to your bed and increase its sturdiness & durability. BE AWARE it is the diameter of the tenon, NOT THE LENGTH that creates true stability.
  • Nice dimension logs that are fully sanded.
    • Check the dimensions of the log bed you are purchasing! The logs on these beds are NOT small. They are very heavy with large posts and rails. The weight of log furniture is one good indicator of the size and quality of logs you are receiving.

Aspen is one of the most characteristic & beautiful types of wood to build log beds from. These beds are NOT made of machine-milled logs. They are hand-peeled & crafted meaning each piece has knots, worm holes, color variations or other characteristic features! These beds are full of character, one-of-a-kind & very sturdy. Just imagine how beautiful they are in person!!!



Please be aware that all log furniture is naturally subject to the process of "checking". Checking occurs as moisture is released over time. It DOES NOT affect the strength or structural integrity of the wood. It simply adds to the uniqueness and rustic quality of the furniture. Therefore, checking and other rustic qualities are not considered defects. You are buying the bed frame ONLY! You will need to add your own mattress, box spring & bedding.

Shipping Policy
Items are made-to-order so please allow some time for construction. (Construction times vary. Please allow up to 3 weeks depending on the item ordered.) If you have a specific delivery time frame, please email us before placing your order. We will do our best to meet your delivery requests, but cannot guarantee an exact delivery day.

Shipping to the lower 48 states only. If you require shipping elsewhere, you will need to contact us for a shipping quote as additional charges WILL apply. We ship by Fed Ex, UPS or freight carrier. All items that meet the dimension limits will be shipped by Fed Ex or UPS unless they are part of an order consisting of larger items that must be delivered by freight carrier. Items shipped by freight carrier will be delivered curbside and you will need to be present to sign for and unload the items.

Transit times average 3-10 business days. Please add this to any construction time stated in the listing to give you an estimated delivery date. We cannot guarantee precise delivery dates. If you have a specific time frame in which you need your items delivered, please discuss this with us at the time of your order.

When shipping by Fed Ex or UPS, we will notify you by email when your order ships. Please be sure to provide a valid email address when placing your order as this is the email address we will send your notification to. Orders shipped by freight carrier will include your contact phone number on the bill of lading. Again, please be sure to provide a valid phone number when placing your order so you can be easily reached to arrange a delivery time.
Payment Policy

The GoodTimber is not required to collect sales tax on orders that are shipped outside the state of Utah. If you will be picking up your items or if they will be shipped within the state of Utah, sales tax will be added to your order when it is processed.
