This a used unit. It is in good condition. The screen is bright. The sound is good. The battery works . I watched a DVD for 15 minutes without an issue on battery power and it would of kept going but I am selling a bunch of these I found in our pantry and I don't have the time to see how long they will go on battery. It is a Lithium Ion Battery . This would work great in the car or at home for kids or on a treadmill.  It has 2 sets of headphone jacks so two can listen and watch at the same time.  It runs without the battery continuously on the plug. manufactured oct 2004 stamped on player and power box.
