Canon EOS 50D, with Canon Battery Grip, and 3 Batteries!!!

Up for grabs is this fantastic digital SLR camera by Canon, the EOS 50D. The camera is in great condition as I have always taken good care of it. Included in this auction is a original battery grip (BG-E2N) with 2 extra batteries (1 Canon original, and the other is a 3rd party battery by Inca). In total, you will get 3 batteries including the one that came with the camera. All other accessories such as battery charger, camera strap, cables, software etc are as per the retail pacakage. This camera was bought in Oct 2008 (from Ted's in Melbourne, Australia) and I have taken about 2500 pictures with it. There are no problems at all with the camera and it has always been very well taken care of. I have used a screen protector for the LCD from the moment I got it and I have left the screen protector in place as it is still very much functional. 

Why am I selling the camera?

I am always buying new stuff, such as new phones, computers, cameras, lenses etc. My wife has a big problem with that and selling items which are no longer in use helps to ease that problem. Those of you familiar with my auctions would know that my items are always in good condition, and in many cases, as good as new. My feedback rating on eBay is 100%, and items are always as described.

A Note about Shipping

Please note that due to restrictions on the transport of lithium batteries (http://www.auspost.com.au/BCP/0,1467,CH4720~MO19,00.html), Australia Post will only deliver parcels which contain lithiun batteries by road transport. Therefore, I will only be able to send this by road and this will add to the delivery time. In addition, please ensure that your delivery address is reachable by road. From my reading of the AusPost website, most areas in Australia are fine with the exception of some remote areas which are not accessible by road.

Due to this new restriction, I am allowing pickup in person during office hours around Melbourne CBD (Collins Street). However, due to previous bad experience, payment has to be made before pickup can be arranged. I have had experiences in the past where the auction winner tried to bargain and mark down the price etc. I thank you for your kind understanding.

For international bidders, the parcel will have to be sent using an international courier, such as Fedex. Please kindly send me your address details (country, state, postal code etc.) so that I may confirm the shipping costs. I have put in A$250 as the shipping cost in the auction just to ensure that I am covered in the event that someone bids without confirming the shipping costs.
