You're bidding on a limited first edition trade paperback of Girls for the Slime God, a collection of spicy 1930s science fiction stories by Henry Kuttner, edited and with an Introduction by Mike Resnick.  Obscura Press, 1997, 216pp, edition limited to 1000 copies. Condition is very good plus, tight and complete.

The core of this collection is three stories by Henry Kuttner; a short, Dictator of the Americas; a novelette, Avengers of Space; and a short novel, Time Trap; all originally published in 1938 in issues of Marvel Science Stories, a spicy science fiction pulp that specialized in tales where nubile young women with heaving bosoms tended to lose their clothing and get carried off by alien monsters with lustful intent.

In addition to their stories, Resnick has included an Introduction, an article on the spicy pulps by William Knowles, an Afterword by Barry Maltzberg, a script for a fan convention costume skit by Carol Resnick, based on The Avengers of Space, and a very funny short story by Isaac Asimov, Playboy and the Slime God.
