Available to buy now or make a reasonable offer is a SCARCE! 1902 $5 Plain Back National Banknote issued by The First National Bank of Hartwell, Georgia - Charter #11695, with serial number 8783. Hartwell, with a total area of 4.6 square miles, is located on the northeast border of Georgia and is the County Seat of Hart County. The population was 4,188 at the 2000 census. There are only 12 large size notes known to the only bank in this ONE BANK CITY and this Plain Back has been graded Very Good with clear blue seal/serial numbers, dark and inky coloring and light, but legible signatures.
