Available to buy now or make a reasonable offer is a SCARCE! 1902 $5 National Banknote issued by The First National Bank of Westboro, Massachusetts, Charter number 421, with serial number 6382. Westboro, now known as "Westborough", is located in Worcester County, central Massachusetts. Nicknamed "The Hundredth Town", it was incorporated as such in November, 1717 and populated by 27 families. Our historic banknote originated in this ONE BANK TOWN and only 12 large size are known to exist. It has been graded Very Good with creases and folds commonly found in a well circulated note, vivid blue seal/serial number and a light brown mark on the right side as seen in our photo.
