Minolta Maxxum 7000 Body - The Revolution Started Here

When Minolta introduced the Maxxum line back in the late 1980s, I thought it was a horrible idea. Surely no SERIOUS photographer would give that much control to a machine. I was barely adjusted to auto-exposure and now the were promoting auto-FOCUS! On an SLR with a full range of lenses? Absurd!

That shows how much I know.

Maybe Minolta eventually got run out of the camera industry, but the Maxxum line and especially the 7000 showed that there was a desire for easier to use, quality lensed SLRs. Only the digital revolution resulted in more impact.

This Maxxum 7000 has been used well. As far as I can tell, it is in full working condition. There are signs of use, but no damage, just marks from careful usage. It should offer an alternative if you currently use Sony digital SLRs. Remember, film is not better than digital, but the images are different.
