DESCRIPTION:

For your Consideration is this Primitive Antique Large Wood Adjustable Wall Hang Clothes Dryer, from the late 1800s to Very Early 1900s, which I acquired from an Estate Sale. This Very Large Wood Clothes Dryer hangs on the wall, and is Adjustable to make it higher or lower from the floor. There are holes on the part that hangs on the wall where the metal plunger goes in to hold it in place. It has an Ornate metal piece, where the arms are attached. When the arms are released from the metal holder on top it rotates, so that it juts out from the wall, and when you are all done drying your clothes it folds back up against the wall. The dryer is 42 1/2" tall, when spread out the span is about 62", and the arms measure about 30" long. This Wood Dryer is the largest I have ever seen, is in Excellent Condition for it's age, with no cracks in wood, very sturdy, slides up and down easily, has mild wearing/tarnishing of metal parts, and the screw for hanging is newer. Great Primitive Collectible!!.
