David Crosby / If I Could Only Remember My Name - Atlantic # SD7203 Record VG+7 Cover Destroyed
I'm selling my old record collection. It contains a wide range of genres. Albums will have wide variations in conditions. I will try to list honestly as to condition. Im not in the record business so I borrowed these rating systems. Feel free to ask questions. I'll be listing several thousand records so check back often.
GUIDE FOR GRADING FOR RECORDS:
10 (MINT) Perfect In Every Way.
9 (Near Mint to NM+ / Mint-) Like new with only a few small light marks / extremely light scratches not affecting play. A nice clean surface free of groovewear & plays like new.
8 (VG++) clean with very little to no groove wear and only some very light harmless marks / scuffs / very light surface scratches not affecting play. Plays very close to like new.
7 (VG+) clean with very little to no wear. Will play with very strong to full fidelity. Some light surface marks / scuffs / light surface scratches with only a few light scratches being very lightly audible. Plays Excellent.
6 (VG) may have some light groove wear with more marks / scuffs / scratches - some will be audible but none should over power the music. A decent play copy.
5 (VG-) light to moderate groove wear, may have many scratches / scuffs, etc. Also may not have too many scratches but some will be deep enough to affect listening. Not the greatest copy but still playable.
4 or lower - will have many problems, possibly cracked, etc. Any major imperfections will be noted in the description.
GUIDE FOR GRADING FOR RECORD COVERS:
10 (MINT) perfect in every way, as new.
9 (NEAR MINT to MINT-) very clean with only extremely light signs of wear, perhaps a few small light creases, extremely light signs of handling / very little shelf wear, maybe very light signs of ring wear (no seam splits / no writing on the cover). Will be very close to New in appearance.
8 (VG++) clean with perhaps some light ring wear, maybe a few small light torn areas, few light creases, very light ring wear. Will be close to Near Mint with maybe a very small seam split or small light writing in a spot.
7 (VG+) may have some light creases, few lightly torn areas, some corner wear / light wear around the edges. Maybe some very light seam splitting / few light water stains but will still be in nice shape.
6 (VG) more wear around the edges / at the corners, some small creases, a few longer heavier creases, could have a couple of longer seam splits, maybe some light tearing, sticker residue / light sticker tears, maybe some writing + water staining...
5 (VG-) will have moderate corner / edge wear, some seam splitting, some creases, writing, torn areas, water staining, sticker residue / tearing, seam wear / splitting, etc. The entire cover will be in once full piece - still not trashed but not the best looking.
4 and lower - This Cover will have some serious issues, maybe some parts missing altogether with heavy wear, many creases, water damage, torn spots, seam splitting (some entirely split), etc. Major imperfections will be noted in the description.
