Queen Mary's Doll House Book 1972


Hello and welcome to my auction. Today I am offering this wonderful Doll House book about Queen Mary's Doll House. The doll house depicted in this book belonged to Queen Mary is most likely one of the most beautiful doll houses. The doll house was preserved in a large glass case arranged so that one may walk with ease all around it and see all the rooms.
 
This book has pictures, both in black and white as well as colour, of the spectacular rooms and of some of the dolls.
 
The book itself is 7" x 9" in size. The front and back cover have minor "scratch" type marks on it from wear. The covers are a very thick paper, almost similar to cardboard. The pages inside are a thick glossy paper. The pages are all intact and no tears or rips. There is almost no yellowing
of the pages in the book.
 
The book states it is printed in Great Britain by Garrod and lofthouse International Limited,Caterham and Crawley. Pitkin Pictorial Ltd. 1972
