Bruce Boxleitner (Riptide) stars as the murderously jealous Tyree.  Hingle plays dime novelist Halburton who immortalizes Cardiff.  Veteran cowboy star Ben Johnson plays Doc Bogardus, the sharpshooter who hones Cardiff's skills and Dennis Hopper is the heavy as Doc Holliday, bounty hunter and killer.

The real life of Cardiff is vivedly portrayed as a backdrop to the blood-and-thunder extravaganzas that made "Colonel" Hugh and his "Wild West Show" famous on two continents.

A thrilling look back at the birth of the American West and a true western hero in American folklore...

This is not a DVD.

  This movie is a former video rental and is in very good/good condition.   The tapes play well.  It is a two-VHS tape set.  The tapes come in two extra-protective hard plastic cases. 

Jacket states "1980 release", tapes are from 1991.  From Prism Entertainment.

This movie is currently out of print and is hard to find.  Add to your Western collection!
