This Complete Set of Antique Boxwood Chess Pieces dates I believe to around 1900.

The pieces are overall in good vintage condition,with splits to only 2 pieces.Other than that, there are just scuffs which are commensurate

with age and use.

The Kings measure approximately 3.5 inches high, the Castle approximately 2 inches, and the pawns 1.75 inches.

The colour and patina of the wood is lovely and in keeping with a Chess Set of the period.
