This is the Dave Matthews Band concert poster for night 3 (Sunday, September 6, 2009) of another epic 3-night stand at the fantastic Gorge Amphitheater in George, WA.

The annual DMB Gorge weekend is a pilgrimage for myself and many other fans who are, like me, from the nearby Seattle area...yet one of the best aspects of the trip every year is the number of people we meet who are from literally all over the world. Seeing their favorite band at one of the best outdoor venues in the world is something every passionate DMB fan should do while they can. Having not missed a show there in well over a decade, I can attest to the absolute truth of how awesome everyone says it is. That said, the concert posters, individual to each show on the tour, are a special momento for those who were at the show, and a fun collectible for anyone who is a fan of the band and the artists.

This particular print was difficult to get even being at the show. I was in the venue three hours before the band took the stage and the prints were gone pretty quickly thereafter. There were tons of people walking around trying to buy them off people who had gotten them, but I didn't see anyone actually willing to sell one. I managed to get two with my girlfriend waiting in line behind me...this is the second of the two prints we made off with. It was a crazy rush of people as the different merch stands starting running out of them--I watched the herd running madly on to the next stand from my spot in the grass.

These Methane prints look really awesome framed and on the wall. If I had a card room or were more into poker I'd probably be trying to put this series together myself. I have the Flower Power series from last summer framed and on my walls, and I can definitely say the DMB Methane posters make awesome and even classy art for your walls.
