I have a few of these left .This is a Notre Dame Stadium brick (stadium was built in 1930 and this is an original brick from 1930) that was removed from Notre Dame Stadium during the stadium renovation during 1996-97 . Most of the bricks were smashed and broken up into pieces during the renovation construction project . Only a few of the bricks remained in one complete piece like this one . The rarity here is that this was dipped and plated in 24KT gold to give it a stunning look after it was removed . Brick is personally hand signed by former Notre Dame QB Tony Rice , was starting QB on the 1988 National Championship Team , was also co-captain of that team , won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award that season , holds the Notre Dame rushing record for a QB in one season , also holds the all time career rushing record for a QB at Notre Dame . Autograph is gem mint and a solid 10 and my photos will show it . Winner will also receive a Certificates of Authenticity on this item . Certificate is from Notre Dame University authenticating the brick came from Notre Dame Stadium . This piece weighs a little over 6 1/2 pounds and is solid in every way .
