THE FOURTH PRESIDENT: A LIFE OF JAMES MADISON by Irving Brant, biography of James Madison, 1751-1836, 4th President of the United States, 1809-1817.

Easton Press Full Genuine Leather. Book is beautifully bound in dark brown leather, complete with gilded page edges, decorative gilt on boards, a permanent satin bookmark, decorative end pages and a hubbed spine. Book is square and tightly bound with clean, crisp pages inside. Easton Press bookplate is signed and inserted (off center) by my relative who was a meticulous and proud collector. It appears that the book is unread and in fine condition, except for a dent of the bottom page end and slight dent on page upper side. Includes Collector's Note; Special contents of this edition, 1985. I will ship in bubblewrap packing for extra protection.
